Lucy Micallef and Natalie Thornton are LuNa Art

We are both fully qualified artists with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and a MA in Visual Art living in West Yorkshire, specialising in hand painted murals for both residential and commercial properties.

Our art takes many forms for the last 10 years we have worked collaboratively in paint, performance, installation and photography. To our knowledge there are no other female collaborations that do what we do!

Over the last few years we have become best known for our murals, particularly those designed for spaces used by children. We have a fantastic niche for creating spaces that children can really escape into.

Our diverse portfolio demonstrates our versatility and ability to paint animals, landscapes, portraits and children’s characters. Over the years we have learnt to use many materials which has broadened our knowledge and understanding of such things as pastels, chalks, water colours, wax, clay, plastic, ceramics, also a broad knowledge of photography and various editing suits, and of course our favourite and most used medium….acrylic paint.

We have immersed ourselves completely in art, and are very proud of the work we create. Some of our clients include hospitals, a large number of schools, nurseries, children’s play centres, nursing home, theatre and many homes.
